Well, Freddie caught Madonna in Houston, Texas, recently, so we’re talking about that show. However, Beyonce’s latest doesn’t get the love. Listen to the podcast.

Regarding I am…Sasha Fierce. You initially said you thought all the songs were all mellow and sounding the same but then said you liked certain songs that all happen to be from Sasha Fierce. Maybe it’s the Janet stank bias in you I don’t know but the album is at least decent. Once you get past the concept of the album you are left with good quality music which is lacking currently as far as what’s played on the radio.
I can understand your not being impressed but the chick shows versatility on this album, definitely give it a second listen or a third.

Janet stank bias? What does that even mean? I’m not going to go there or to that level, but I will clear up a few things. I’ve openly said I’m not really into Janet’s latest offering, Discipline, either, on previous R&R’s. Am I still a Janet fan? Yes. Am I Beyonce fan? No. But, if a song and/or an album is hot then a song and/or album is hot, regardless of the artist. Now, my second shared opinion on the R&R podcast, obviously, supercedes the first. The 3 songs we discussed are interesting songs and I admitted that. Additionally, I gave praises to “If I Were A Boy.” You may want to check out my review of it here: http://popolio.wordpress.com/2008/10/30/single-and-listening-2/ I’m not a fan who thinks my divas walk on water and that everything they do and touch is gold — if that is what you’re referring to by “stank bias.” I did give I Am…Sasha Fierce the first listen to begin with and will have an open ear and eye as singles and videos are released. I just watched the 2 new videos the other day. I stand behind my comments and opinions. ‘Nuff said.
