JW: From the first, it sounds like a Roger/Zapp B-side, say in the “I Wanna Be Your Man” era, though he looks like he’s set for the Chris Brown-loving set. It’s nice R&B fare, though I’d need to hear the whole CD to be sure of his style.
freddie beat: When I saw the title I automatically thought of Michael Jack. Sounds nothing like that track, though. Nice groove. I could see it catching on. It’s a grower, though. Don’t love it out the gate. I like his voice, the way he sings more than I like the song.
