I’m kicking off MY TOP 10 tribute to the King of Pop.  I wanted to do something a little different.  We all know the videos and we all know the good ones, so I thought I’d focus on his duets.  But, I’m going to make it a 2-in-1 MY TOP 10.  The BONUS videos will function as a second countdown and will feature the regular Michael Jackson videos.  Hope you enjoy our stroll down MJ memory lane.

mj99. Rockwell “Somebody’s Watching Me”
Rockwell is Berry Gordon’s son, Kenneth William Gordy, who was secretly signed to Motown under his pseudonym, “Rockwell,” to avoid claims of nepotism.  Being friends with Michael, he asked him to sing on his first single knowing it would be released if he did so.  And he was right, it’s his biggest hit to-date peaking at Number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100.  Because of it, he is considered a one hit wonder.  Rockwell’s follow-up single, “Obscene Phone Caller,” is his only other Top 40 hit reaching Number 35 on the same chart.  Though Michael is not in the video, he features prominently in the chorus.

***BONUS*** Michael Jackson “Don’t Stop ‘Til You Get Enough”
We go back to  the Off The Wall era, the album that started him on his path to supernova stardom.  Many consider this album, that this track is from, his best ever and even place it above Thriller.  And, what, about having a music video before the dawn of MTV?  How forward-thinking was that?
